Cookies are small files a site stores on your device. We also use similar technologies such as local storage. This policy explains the cookies CaterCloud uses and how to manage them. When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies; your choice is stored in a cookie named “cc_consent”.
These are required for the Service to work and cannot be switched off. They include your sign-in/session cookie and cross-site-request-forgery protection, your cookie-consent choice (“cc_consent”), and short-lived security cookies used during sign-in and when connecting an integration. For support and multi-business use we also use cookies that record an active support session or the business you are currently working in.
These remember choices that improve your experience — for example your theme, sidebar state, and whether you have opted to use the desktop rather than mobile view. Clearing them resets those preferences only.
We do not currently load third-party advertising cookies, and we do not set analytics cookies unless you have consented via the banner (by choosing “Accept all”, which sets “cc_consent=all”). If we introduce analytics in future, they will be used only to understand aggregate usage and improve the product, only where you have consented, and never to track you across unrelated sites for advertising.
You can change your choice at any time by clearing the “cc_consent” cookie to see the banner again, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent sign-in and core features from working.
