Embeddable widget

Upcoming Events Widget

Where you are trading next, on your own site. It reads the calendar you already keep, so the page cannot be out of date unless the calendar is.

Generated by the same function that writes the snippet in your settings, so this is the shape you will actually paste.

What it does

On your own site, doing real work

Lists the public events you have chosen to show — date, place and time — from the same calendar your private bookings sit on. You pick which are public; the rest never appear.

01 · their site

Your own website

Wherever you already send people. One block of HTML, pasted once.

02 · the widget/embed/events/<your-key>
03 · your account

Where the result lands

In CaterCloud, against the customer, on the same calendar and pipeline as everything else.

DrawingUpcoming Events Widget — where it sits
Sourcesrc/app/(embed)/embed/events/[key]

01One snippet, no plugin. It works on any site that lets you paste HTML.

02The key in the URL is public by design and scoped to one widget config — it is an address, not a credential.

03It publishes what you mark public. It does not find events for you, and it will not reveal a private booking however the widget is configured.

04Nothing here needs a CaterCloud-built website. If you have one, the same widget is a section instead of a paste.

Questions

What people ask before pasting it

Where does the code go?
Anywhere you can paste HTML — Squarespace, Wix, WordPress, Webflow, a hand-built site. It is one snippet and it does not need a plugin.
Do I need a CaterCloud website to use it?
No. These are built to go on the site you already have. If you do build your site with CaterCloud the widget is a section instead of a paste, but the widget is the same one.
What is the key in the snippet?
Your own embed key, which CaterCloud generates and shows you next to the copy button. The one above is a placeholder — the rest of the snippet is exactly what you will paste.
What can it not do?
It publishes what you mark public. It does not find events for you, and it will not reveal a private booking however the widget is configured.
