Date-based pricing
Charge more (or less) depending on when an event falls — weekends and holidays can cost more than quiet midweek dates — and let customers see the price change as they pick a date.
Set it up under Settings → Sales & money → Date-based pricing.
Two kinds of rule
Days of the week
Applies every week on the days you choose. Perfect for a standing weekend surcharge — e.g. Fri + Sat, +15%.
Date range
Applies to a fixed window. Ideal for a peak season or holiday period — e.g. 20 Dec – 2 Jan, +25%.
Set one up
- 1Open Settings → Date-based pricing and tap Add rule.
- 2Give it a clear name (e.g. “Weekend surcharge”) — this is what appears on the customer’s estimate.
- 3Choose Days of week or Date range, then pick the days or dates.
- 4Enter the adjustment as a percentage: positive adds a surcharge (15 = +15%), negative gives a discount (-10 = 10% off).
- 5Save. It’s live straight away — pause, edit or delete it any time from the same page.
What your customers see
- On your marketplace listing and booking widget, each date in the calendar shows the per-person “from” price underneath — so shoppers can see at a glance which dates cost more.
- Surcharged dates are tinted warmly and discounted dates in green, with the exact adjustment noted on the booking estimate once a date is chosen.
- The estimate and any deposit are calculated from the adjusted price, so what a customer is quoted always matches the date they picked.
Good to know
Do my existing quotes and bookings change?
No. A rule only affects future date estimates. Any quote or booking already sent keeps the price it was created with.
What if two rules apply to the same date?
They stack. A Saturday that also falls inside your Christmas window gets both adjustments added together (e.g. +15% weekend and +25% peak = +40%).
Can I run a discount instead of a surcharge?
Yes — enter a negative percentage (e.g. -10 for 10% off) to make quiet midweek or off-season dates cheaper.
Why don’t I see a price under every calendar date?
The per-date figure only shows when a listing has a per-person package price to base it on. If a vendor only offers “priced on quote” packages, the rule still adjusts the estimate — there’s just no “from” number to display per day.
Do I need to redeploy or refresh anything?
No. Save a rule and it applies immediately across your marketplace listing and booking widget.
